Where else can you find wilderness in the heart of the city. you'll see Arthur's seat thorough out your time in Edinburgh, 30 minutes and you will be at the top of this extinct volcano. Take some sturdy shoes (or trainers/sneakers) and get your heart rate up. there is no better view of the city.

one for the gram, this little street leads from the hear of the new town in to stock bridge, super picturesque, there are great bars at each end too. also lovely spot for brunch at the pantry
