Ladestien is well known for relaxing, bathing (in the summer, some also during winter!), bird watching, jogging and walking. It is also the best place for watching the Northern lights/Aurora borealis.

The museum shows ancient farm houses and city houses and give a good insight in how Norwegians lived hundred of years ago. My grandfather used to work here and demonstrate traditional wood techniques.
