Just North of Aberdeen, Balmedie has long stretches of sand accessed by paths through the dunes. There are toilets and a seasonal kiosk for coffee or ice cream. A great destination for dogs!

Perhaps our favourite beach in the area! Combine exploring Culbin Forest with blowing the cobwebs away on the vast sandy beach. A great place to let dogs run!

Huntly has two supermarkets and a small selection of local shops. The monthly Farmers Market (first Saturday of the month) is a great place to pick up fresh local produce. Costcutter stocks locally farmed meats etc.
