I'm not a coffee snob, but even I must admit this place is pretty great (plus it's in the heart of downtown Dartmouth). It can get pretty busy, and noisy at times but it's worth it for the baked goods alone.

A very interesting glimpse into Canadian History and a great location at the tip of the Halifax boardwalk. This place can be pretty busy when the cruise ships are around, but on the plus side, there will be lots to see and do.

Probably one of my favorite spots in Halifax. Way more than just books (views of the city, video games, archives, cafes, movie screenings), a great location and a very cool place to just hang out and relax.
