It is a bit expensive, but if you love food as much as we do, this is the place to go. Perfect for a rainy day also, as you can spend an hour or two just wandering around and eyeballing all the beautiful food!

All year, and especially during the summer, lots of different activities take place here such as sports events of all kind, rock concerts and open air weddings.

Amager Common is a place to play ball, ride, run, cycle, soak up the sun, have a picnic, barbecue or a chilled glas of white wine in the sun.

The Frederiksberg Gardens are simply magical, every turn revealing a new fairytale-like scenery. Even if the sun is not out, please do yourself the favor of going. It is about 40 min. away from the apartment, but you can easily spend a few hours there – more if you bring a picnic (you can borrow the blanket by the sofa, if you promise to take care of it). If you’re not up for the long trip, go see the Botanical Gardens instead, which are also magnificent.
