The architecture of the museum is very interesting. So is the whole area around the museum. Lots of outdoor space and nice cafes as well.

Wonderful castle and the grounds around with the lake is perfect for a picnic. There is also a very nice inn just next to the castle. The town of Hillerød is good for shopping as well.

Excellent restaurant with outdoor seating. A bit 'fancy' perhaps but food is excellent. The restaurant is actually part of a nice spa with swimming pool etc. Haven't been to the spa but nice looking
