Have you ever tried Ethiopian food? It's delicious! And this place, basically right outside my apartment, has arguably the best Ethiopian in the city. I recommend the vegetarian platter for two, or the Doro Tibs (chicken).

Because you're staying uptown, if you have time you should absolutely head up to the Cloisters and Fort Tryon - they're only a few stops uptown on the subway. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city - especially on a sunny day.
