Sightseeing

Epic views (featured in several films), and vendors selling local art, jewelry, wares. Keep an eye out for Big-Horned Sheep (usually on the Taos side)! Sometimes there's even a solar-powered Ice Cream Bus!

Parks & Nature

"Two Peaks" is a great moderate hike with amazing views, and is quite close to the House (you can see it from the driveway)! Just head back to the main road and take a Left to head north (instead of right to leave). In about half a mile you hit BLM (public) land. Continue on the rough two-track roads until you can't or just start hiking! I can walk right out the door and be on top in an hour:)
