A stunning walk along the Water of Leith. I would recommend starting at Bellford Bridge. Opposite Britannia Hotel there is a pathway, take this and walk to Stockbridge.

Fantastic views of the city from the top, however doesn’t take too much effort to get the the top. The are some steps you can take from Waterloo Place. Highly recommend!

A great area for a few beers and food with an array of traditional pubs (Biddy Mulligans my favourite). The Grassmarket sits right underneath the Castle and always has a good atmosphere. There is also a market with various stalls selling local produce every Saturday.

Again, another free activity! I’m not being biased when I say this is the best museum I’ve been too. Very interactive with lots to see and do. Highly recommend (especially if it’s a rainy day!)
