Super tasty home made food at very good prices - try the daal of the day and a blueberry lassi drink... amazing! Worth a wee wait and a visit but don't go too late.

This cute little place has excellent healthy lunches and snacks at great prices and hosts an Open Mic night on Fridays (call first to check). The staff are friendly and Queens Park is nearby if you wanted to go for a wander there

Don't be deceived by it's old fashioned looks, this bar is incredible, hip, lively, amazing staff, amazing beer selection, amazing everything and quiz nights are thursdays I believe - it's absolutely worth going here and for all ages and non pretentious folk too!

Rock lovers grunge bar with vegetarian food in the day and evening- cheap beer and burger deals! Quiet Sundays are nice to go for a coffee or beer to read the newspapers too.
