A lovely hike from our house goes throgh the Elliðaárdalur valley along the salmon river Elliðaá. It takes about one hour and 20 minutes to do the circle to the River dam. Two hours if you walk all the way to the Arbæjarlaug Swimming pool. It stays open most stays from 6:30 - 22:00
