Sightseeing
A beautiful falls right here in town! A short trail, which is accessible just 2 miles north of Perllan House, leads to this serene space. Wander behind the falls and the trail continues to an overlook of the creek meeting up with the Sacramento River.

Panther Meadows is a beautiful (and very delicate!) meadow located on Mount Shasta. It is only accessible for a short time each year so take advantage if you happen to visit at the right time. Some gentle trails lead you through the upper and lower meadows, as well as to a natural spring where many like to fill their bottles or even take a moment to meditate. Learn more about this peaceful place from the sign at the trailhead, and remember to stay on the path to protect the delicate life that thrives here!

Everitt Memorial HighwayPanther Meadows is a beautiful (and very delicate!) meadow located on Mount Shasta. It is only accessible for a short time each year so take advantage if you happen to visit at the right time. Some gentle trails lead you through the upper and lower meadows, as well as to a natural spring where many like to fill their bottles or even take a moment to meditate. Learn more about this peaceful place from the sign at the trailhead, and remember to stay on the path to protect the delicate life that thrives here!
