The adventure park is a thrill seekers paradise. Primarily a mountain bike park it boasts a chairlift to get you and your bike to the top of the port hills where you can select a multitude of tracks from beginner through to expert. Bike and gear hire is available and there are also walking tracks and a cafe bar.

The Antigua Boat Sheds have been a part of Christchurch’s history for over 130 years, and are classified as a Category 1 Historic Building. Conveniently located on the banks of the Avon River in the heart of the city and within 5 minutes’ walk of the Botanic Gardens, they are home to a traditional and iconic Christchurch pastime that retains all the trappings of Edwardian England, as well as to an excellent café.

Conveniently located on the banks of the Avon River in the heart of the city and within 5 minutes’ walk of the Botanic Gardens, they are home to a traditional and iconic Christchurch pastime that retains all the trappings of Edwardian England, as well as to an excellent café.

These displays are owned and operated by individual societies and manned by their volunteers. They have restored and displayed their collections for you to enjoy and these include tractors, fire engines, aeroplanes, trams, trains, cars, printing, post and telegraph, model railway, photography and much much more. If you are interested in a particular society's display, please contact the society in advance of your visit, to ensure that volunteers will be on site.
Trams run on weekends and throughout the School Holidays.
Tram rides are not included in the admission price but can still be purchased at a small fee
