Lovely free venue with adorable donkeys by the bucket full. Adequate tea room / restaurant. Walk down to the beach is a trek but beach is deserted if you can bear the hike. Hike back is tough.

Good for under tens but not for teens. Quiet and relaxed with a museum type lay out, models of old shops, engines, machinery. Lots of cute baby animals that the kids can handle. Play areas

Town not great but head for the seafront and the 2 miles of golden sand. McDonald's, Costa etc in town if that's what you need. The seafront has been regenerated and is great for families.
