Budget option. Don´t tell anyone about this place. I would like to keep it as it is and if there are too many tourists, the prices may rise and quality go down. A great middle-eastern (Syrian) restaurant with hummus to die for.

If you need to store your luggage when arriving to or departing from Reykjavik from the BSI station, this is the place to do it. They have safe lockers there but you can only pay by credit card. You can see more at on their website, just google "luggage lockers Reykjavik".

This is "The Wine Store" or Vínbúðin in Icelandic, the government run supplier of alcohol in Iceland. Alcohol is not sold in shops so don´t buy your "beer" in a grocery store since it will only contain 2,5% alcohol or less.
A good tip is to buy your alcohol in the duty free store upon your arrival to the country. It could save you a lot of money. Otherwise, head to Vínbúðin, they´ve got a high level of service and variety.
