Lovely village with two excellent cafes offering lunch and wonderful cream teas. There are two pubs, the New Inn and the Rugglestone which both do good food and have pretty gardens. There is also a small shop selling supplies, a working forge and a National Trust shop attached to the church.

An attractive local town with a great range of shops for food supplies, a small supermarket, delicatessens, green grocers and plenty of antique shops to browse around.

A small town with a good variety of shops including a butchers, delicatessen and very handy iron mongers. Also the home of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen which has work from a variety of local artists, usually including an exhibition and also a cafe.
