Alex's is an obviously neighborhood favorite. Great Dominican-Latin homemade cooking! There's usually a line out the door (but don't worry - it moves fast!) because the food is just that damn good. They don't have much seating, but it's so close to our place we usually just take it back home to eat.

Really great quick bite. Fresh and delicious Sicillian pizza. My boyfriend, a Chicago man, raves about Fazio's pizza crust every time we eat there.

Will usually stop in here for a cup of coffee or a sandwich before work. Make sure to give their chipotle mayo a try - they make it there! They've also got fresh baked goods with some vegan options too.

It's fucking great. Seriously, try it. They've got wood-fire pies, pastas, salads, and great drinks. Some nights they do movie nights!

Great mixed drinks and interesting beers. Also serves food - skewers, hot dogs & bowls til 2am.
