Tibetan family owned restaurant about a 9 minute walk from my home. They have a lunch buffet for under $10 which include yummy veggie or beef momos. Lovely place to go for soup and tea in the evenings.

If money isn't an issue, HSL is a beautiful place to eat. It's good for groups or to eat alone at the bar, outside, or in their lounge. They do have a cheaper bar menu and $5 drink options on the weekdays.

Parks & Nature
This is my favorite park in Salt Lake. You can relax under a tree by the pond, walk along the dirt trail next to the creek, or make your way further up into the canyon.

Red Butte highlights a diverse collection of flowers, trees, and other plants. There's a peaceful pond on the grounds. There is a cost to get in.
