If you have the time, Brevard is a 25 minute drive from Hendersonville and it offers a fun downtown with chef owned restaurants, breweries, and Pisgah National Forest. The waterfalls are beautiful, and there are plenty of hiking trails!

A short walk from Urban Retreat, this classy craft brewery serves delicious beer, and local food trucks feed the crowd. Opens at 4 pm on weekdays and noon Friday-Sunday. I've seen live music from Dry Falls lure innocent dog walkers and runners every weekend.

Everyone sits outside at picnic tables and it looks so fun! Finally stopped one day and have been there every week since. The tacos are crazy good, and the queso is so delicious! I highly recommend the steak and cheese taco along with the shrimp and grits!!
My friend Nancy and I accidentally found this restaurant when exploring Flat Rock. It was a very pleasant surprise to walk behind the strip of cute shops on Greenville Hwy. to find this jewel. Talk about value! You will not be disappointed!!

Within walking distance of the condo, this delightful breakfast and brunch option offers such a wide menu that it will take you longer to make a choice than for them to have it ready for you. Go here at least once!

Chimney Rock is a small village near Lake Lure. 44 steps to the top of the rock with an elevation of 2280 feet above sea level will reward you with a 75 mile panoramic view and mountain top experience that will take your breath away.

Biltmore Estate is certainly a must see while you visit. Just 35 minutes from Hendersonville, it offers walking and biking trails, incredible gardens, and of course the mansion. Antler Village/ a part of the estate is where the kids can pet animals, you can gift shop, go to the winery, creamery, restaurants, pub, and much more. 5 stars!

Antler Village/ a part of the estate is where the kids can pet animals, you can gift shop, go to the winery, creamery, restaurants, pub, and much more. 5 stars!
This is a tiny place with a big presence. You will see geckos, turtles, and many types of sea creatures. The staff is knowledgable and happy to share with the guests. Great place to take the kids!
