This is a 1 hour brisk walk away. Accessible by either the "Andante" (mostly flat and easy) trail, or the "Thunder Mountain" (up, down, winding fun) trail. You can extend this hike to go completely around Chimney Rock.

You can walk over this arch. Instagramers have made this location famous. While it is spectacular, you might want to avoid crowded holiday weekends (like we didn't). We included it in an all-day (18 mile) loop from the house.
