Tarkiln Bayou Park is a beautiful experience and just 1 mile from our location. There are trails, boardwalks, fishing and picnicking among other outside activities - it is a must see. The history of this location is also a must read especially to the younger ones. It's very inspirational.

Just east of the Perdido Beaches is Johnsons Beach. It is about a 5-10 minute drive from our location. Beautiful sand and beautiful gulf water. Great drive or just hang out on the beach. There is a large parking area with restrooms.

If you want the best view in the house you have to visit the Pensacola Lighthouse. It is located on NAS. It has absolutely breathtaking views....if you can climb the 177 steps to the top. Please see their website for hours and pricing.

I don't have a specific category for everything - If I did the Flora-Bama would be it! Beach, food, drinks, fun, games, you name it. One of the BEST local beach bars in the area!! And it's just minutes from our location. Among some of their world-famous events are the January Polar Bear Dip, in April the Mullet Man Triathlon and the Mullet Toss & Beach Party, the 4th of July Party, and in September the Bulls on the Beach. There are so many other events here you have to pull up their website to view! Their food is great. The Flora-Bama is definitely a must do for your visit.
