This spot is a treasure. A beautiful oasis for wildflowers and many birds just a couple of miles from our home. We've seen ducks with their fuzzy babies in the water--bats flying around at dusk--there's a great, big tree which has been climbed by 1000 kids. A very serene place, where you can stroll with a friend and remember the sweetness of life.

We have a railroad right here in Woodfin! One of our best secrets! It's not a long ride, so a perfect family event. The people who started this adventure did so from the sheer joy of trains. You'll have a great time, and be sure to check out holiday events at Christmas!
