This family-run vegan restaurant is a favourite, especially for takeout. We often buy their samosas for a picnic, a quick snack or to bring to parties. If you are eating in, order the vegetable thali.

This bar is a fun place to go with a friend or few. I like to go early (between 5 and 7 pm) to catch their drinks specials and buck-a-shuck oysters. Great music and fun staff.

This is new to our neighbourhood and quite an exciting addition: a restaurant/bar and a live music venue to boot. Check out their side patio and later head inside for some great music.

Although it's called Paris Bakery it's actually a Portuguese bakery. You must try the 'natas' (pronounced 'notosh') which are custard tarts. They are not pretty but they are delicious.
