This is the original east/west highway through Colorado, before interstate I-70 was built. For an easier, and just as fast route to the closest skiing resorts, take this.

HWY 6 and Bull Run Road Bus stop --Beaver Creek/Vail
Bus is $4-7 per person, stops to take are 205/206 (HWY 6 & Bull Run Rd), toward resorts (10 minutes to Beaver Creek, 40 to Vail), and 269/270 returning, drop you off right at Edwards Riverwalk. Parking at Vail is $20 for 4 hours.
