The gardens are beautifully cared for, with a brilliant playground with a wooden pirate ship, and they serve delicious cakes! What's not to love?!

This is a bit of a hidden gem that locals wil often keep to themselves!
Quieter and with more space than Whitstable town, the slopes offers beautiful sea views and grass to watch the world go by, including certain specific butterflies that are from this part of the world, or look down at the beach or people on their boats, jetskis orpaddle boards.

Tankerton Slopes
Tankerton RoadThis is a bit of a hidden gem that locals wil often keep to themselves!
Quieter and with more space than Whitstable town, the slopes offers beautiful sea views and grass to watch the world go by, including certain specific butterflies that are from this part of the world, or look down at the beach or people on their boats, jetskis orpaddle boards.
This is roughly a 25 minute drive from Whitstable, depending on traffic.
The Cathedral is magnificent and is steeped in history.
*Tip*: anyone looking to worship or attend a service can get in for free!

The historic City offers visitors a real slice of history, amongst a range of independent and familiar stores. On a Wednesday and Friday there is a market where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, handcrafted.jewellery and an array of stalls offering food from around the world.

Wildwood is a fabulous nature reserve that has the well beng and interests of its animals at its heart.
The animals have so much space and are loved and cared for by the staff. You can meet Fluff and Scruff, 2 magnificent bears that were rescued from a small concrete den. Some Bison have just joined teh trust and the most extraordinary looking chicken that make peacocks look dowdy! Perfect for all ages. Love it.
