Here you can see how people lived some hundred years ago. The big building were moved from lake mara at liptovsky mikulas before the dam was filled. In the back part of the museum there is an old train station. You can have a ride in the train for about 300m.

Liptovský Mikuláš is a small town with a nice center. You will find there restaurants, cafés and bars. For grocery shopping there are some big stores close to the highway (Tesco/Kaufland).

The Tatra Railway. You can take the train from Strbske Pleso to Poprad, Strba or Tatranska Lomnica. Along the hills the ride offers very nice views. I recommend the ride from Strbske Pleso to Tatranska Lomnica. In Tatranska Lomnica you can take the cable car to Lomnický štít (2634m)
