There is a hiking post right outside. You can stroll along the road, hikde down to the lake, hike on top of the local mountains or drive a little bit to hike nice peaks such as the Great Mythen or the Klein Ausbrig

There is the brand new local swimming pool. Only half an hour drive away there is the Swiss Holiday Park Spa. We recommend the nude Sauna landscape and included in this is a clothed casual swimming pool part inside and part outside and some water slides. We do not recommend the thermal pool because you can not go in and out as you wish. For the children we recommend Alpamare in Pfaffikon also just half an hour drive away

One of the best views you will find right at the Washitsu.Casa if not from your room from the shared Balcony, Dining and Living Room. You can hike on top of the local mountains such as Morgarten Berg, either of the Wildspitz or drive a little bit and hike on top the Great Mythen or Klein Ausbrig or take cable cars on top of Rigi, Pillatus or Fronalpstock to name just a few

There are roundtrip routes to Lucern and Zurich and Liechtenstein all just one hour away.

From our neighboring town of Arth-Goldau it is just a one hour fast train ride to Ticino through the worlds largest train tunnel. If you prefer to go by car the road version of the Gotthard tunnel is also not far away. Or if you prefer you can drive over the Alps

People who are traveling across Europe for example from Vienna to Paris or Berlin to Venice often stop here to get the best of Switzerland. If you want to stop at just one place this is it, to see the snowcapped Alps and a beautiful lake at the same time. It is the dream image of Switzerland

This is area is loved by bikers who like the curves and altitude difference. There is also a bit of a flat area nearby the Rothenthurm High Moor Preserve. Routes for motorbikes, ebikes, streetbikes, as well as challenging mountain bike trails.

It is especially nice to see the Milan hovering at eye level. Centrally located in Switzerland you can observe the bird life here or at all the nearby lakes
