Drive into the park and turn directly right; beach is at end of parking lot, or continue up to the parking area just after the small bridge and go for a more wilderness experience. Maintained forest paths that take you all over the park - well sign posted options are there.

This is an old building that's been converted into restaurants, coffeeshops, clothing and gift shops with a good and large parking lot.

Through the summer they hold free daily 1-2 hour programs for children: art, reading,yoga, lego club etc etc. Check with the library for hours etc. A really fine library (541) 726-3766

This is a great walk where you can have a coffee at the Washburne Cafe on Main Street, drive a short way to the entrance and then walk along the Willamette River - quite a stunning walk that meets up with the Clearwater Park - about 5 miles
