This is some of the best fish I've had anywhere. It's not a restaurant, although there are a few outdoor tables you can eat it during the day. They sell fresh fish, poke and sashimi to go, among other Japanese sundries.

About a 4 minute drive from the house. Great for a picnic or a swim if the sun if out.
All along the lake there are different small parks where people gather and play in the water. This is one of many. Skinny dipping is not outside the norm here.

From the house, take a left and go up the hill on S Lane Street. You come to a more residential neighborhood. On 31st there's a lovely viewpoint. Great for an evening walk and a view of Mt Baker. There are also a couple of coffee shops and on 31st street near there open during the day.
