If you want to get a great view of the valley this is your place to go. It's a 20min drive from the house, great to take some amazing photos for sunrise or sunset.

This is a great day out, can be romantic, can be adventure, family fun, or just a short day out. If you come during Easter they even run sunrise Mass on Easter Sunday. Must see place.

The drive can be done in a number of ways, my favorite way is going from the cottonwood entrance to the coming back down HWY 62.
One of my favorite hikes is a hike called 49 Palms Oasis Trail, the entrance is actually off HWY 62 in 29 Palms.
