Hire your own motorboat to go up the canal to Camden Lock or towards Portobello. As you go past London Zoo, watch out for the wild dogs and boars on one side of the canal and the aviary on the other. The aviary was designed by Lord Snowdon, the late brother-in-law of the Queen.
