Cafe Van Gogh is a great Vegan restaurant or afternoon tea place. Cakes are just something else! In summer, it offers a cozy courtyard at the feet of the church while in Winter the upstairs has a starry night inspired vault ceiling.

Vegan groceries store, it is a great way to shop plastic-free. It tends to be slightly more expensive than average but it is all paid back in quality of the food.

Situated near Elephant and Castle, on the way to the East End from Oval, Mercato Metropolitano is an all day hub for food and drinks. With a lot of Italian specialties as the name suggests it also host many other cuisines.

Home to many night bars, Peckham still has maintained a little edge. You could head there after walking to Camberwell for a nice dinner. Frank's rooftop in summer and the Bussey Building with Peckham Levels in winter are great places to start from.

Kennington park is the closest park to the flat. It is a very nice to stroll and relax even though a city park. Apparently the pizza is really great there!

Where to buy food around the flat...
The best fruit and veggies are with Cai at Chelsea Fruit and Veg on 84 Brixton road. Cash only unfortunately.
For anything else that is food and non-food-related, Happy Shop next door is a well equipped off-license (grocery store).
Di lieto has everything italian, right on the same road as the flat (Cured hams, Cheeses, Pastas, Sauces as well as ready meals).
A tesco is also near on both Brixton and Clapham roads.
