This is my neighborhood! This is Louisville's original foodie haven with plenty of fun eccentric shops. Lively night life, tons to do and see, lots of foot traffic. You can easily walk/bike/scooter to a long list of places. Lots of festivals too.

Louisville's NuLu neighborhood has undergone a major transformation in the last decade. Always an event going on. Some of the city's best restaurants. Great shopping that hosts a lot of local vendors. Close to the Bats and LCFC stadium.

Largest collection of victorian mansions in the USA, tree lined streets. Spring time is magic here. Check out St. James court for the art show or just to go see it. A step back in time. Site of the World Fair 1883-1887.
I'm comfortable walking there at night but some people aren't, your call.
