We are pro-dogs here and lucky enough to have a huge dog beach to let them run and play! Head east on Indiantown, then south onto A1A, the dog beach starts just after Carlin Park and runs for several miles.
However, If you want to have a quiet breakfast or lunch on the beach without getting loved on by dogs, head to Carlin Park or Jupiter Island Coral Cove. Both are great areas, lifeguarded and do not allow dogs.

Beautiful (dog free beach) on Jupiter Island. Across the road you can also find a spot and relax in the calm and shallow waters of the intracoastal. A great place to wade or to explore the mangroves.

A beautiful nature area to walk, run, bike or kayak. There are many shaded trails. You can rent bikes and kayaks here. Just be careful when going closer to summer since it can get hot and buggy. No dogs allowed unfortunately. Free entry.

Our local movie theatre. There is a “luxury” side and then more of a regular side! Both are great. The luxury side has servers who you can order food and drinks from. There is a full food and drinks menu

A great and easy place to rent a boat for a day or half a day. Boating experience is required. Book in advance!

Sightseeing
Another great area to explore. Many walking and biking trails, dogs are allowed, but there is limited shade so this isn’t a good place to be during the summer, but beautiful from Oct/Nov-May.
They also have some great mountain biking trails, with different variations suitable for all ages, as well as areas to kayak out of. Bikes and kayaks can be rented here. JD has a lookout tower which is a fun place to see the sunset or just walk up it and enjoy the view.
There is a small entrance fee into the park.

My absolute favorite restaurant is Captain Charlies Reef Grill in Juno Beach. The best seafood, great wine options with a rustic and non pretentious vibe. They do not take reservations so go early or be prepared to wait.

The Food Shack. Similar to Reef Grill, has a fun surfer, beach vibe. Again, be prepared to wait, this is a popular place! They often have live music next door.

The owners of Food Shack also have a “fast food” option at a place called Hibiscus StrEATert. A 5 minute drive from the townhouse. They have many of the same menu options as at Food Shack but without the wait. The family dinner options will keep you fed for days!
