This place is a 20min walk from the apt (on the greenway). Everyone’s favorite local bakery (Normandy Farms) decided to open a Pizza place and they are killing it! Bike parking and outdoor seating around back!

The open air bar underneath is called Salty Mike’s and only locals know about it. On the water and no frills. Dog friendly! Upstairs is the ultimate diner food and breakfast with killer blood Mary’s. Can’t beat it.

This is the sign outside your closest local grocery store- Harris Teeter. The coburg dairy sits behind the store and was in operation until the 70’s. The cow is a sign of bad weather- they take her down before bad storms, so if you see her coming down, you know shits about to go down!

The greenway is 5 min from the house and is a great way to get your exercise in or head to some of the other nearby eateries and shopping… go right and you head towards Whole Foods, turn left and you head towards Windermere Center. Either way it’s picturesque and makes you feel a world away!

West Ashley GreenwayThe greenway is 5 min from the house and is a great way to get your exercise in or head to some of the other nearby eateries and shopping… go right and you head towards Whole Foods, turn left and you head towards Windermere Center. Either way it’s picturesque and makes you feel a world away!
Groovy surfer town with tons of character- expect to sit in some traffic if going during peak times… check the tides and go near low tide if you can! My favorite part of the beach is the west end- hang a right and go all the way to the end- about 100 yds from the county park entrance then use 810W or 920W public beach access. Park on the road and make sure you have all 4 tires off the road to avoid a ticket!

Miles of serene nature trails for bird watching and even a little gator viewing. Only a 20 minute drive from town so it’s a great option for seeing Lowcountry nature without driving far!
