We eat here every time we come to Galveston! All the food is fabulous! We love the coconut margaritas and the fresh snapper. The scallops and sweet potatoes for an appetizer are outstanding! Try the three flavors of creme brûlée for dessert.

Gaido's is CLASSIC GALVESTON!!! Around for 120 years, this is the penultimate Galveston restaurant. Wear pants, not shorts, and enjoy the best seafood on the island and the nicest staff around.

RUDY AND PACO!!! Best steaks on the island. A classic restaurant that has amazing seafood, steaks and a HUGE wine list. You MUST MUST MUST have reservations as this place is always packed even in the off season.

This is a MUST for all families and even just the grown-ups! Saltwater taffy made fresh here on a 100 year old machine. They wrap it and toss samples to the crowd. The kids love this! La King's also has every candy imaginable along with ice cream and coffee for the adults.

Such delicious coffee and snacks. Friendliest staff. Parking can be challenging but if you park in one of the pay lots, you can wander all along post office with your coffee and look at all the shops!
