- Turn gas on/off - PLEASE NOTE: Turn gas OFF during night and when check out from the cabin turn gas OFF.

- Turn load 1 on/off (push button couple of seconds to switch the mode) - Turn load 2 on/off (push button couple of seconds to switch the mode) - Do not use electricity too much. Turn lights off when not in cabin. If electricity is used too much system will automatically switch all loads off to prevent emptying totally. This will dramatically shorten the battery life. Therefore use electricity wisely. Your main electricity appliance in the cabin is refrigerator not your mobile phone or laptop. PLEASE NOTE: Always try to keep battery level well above 50%. - Turn refrigerator on/off - Keep round switch as low as possible to prevent too much electricity usage. Start from level 2-3 and test if this level is enough. If refrigerator is too cold it will use more energy to try to keep that level up. - Close door as soon as possible since cold will escape from the refrigerator. PLEASE NOTE: This is your most important electricity appliance on the island. Always minimize any other electricity use. - PLEASE NOTE: Open door and leave open when you check out from the cabin. - Use only for charging mobile phone - Turn flight-mode ON when charging phone > faster charging - Remove socket from wall when not in use

- Indoor fireplace will reserve heat on stones so it gets too hot inside the cabin during summer time if it is used long period. Use indoor fireplace short time just to get moist out of the room or to heat the cabin if needed. - Use only proper wood on fireplace. Do not use paper, newspaper or cardboard. These will produce soot/ ash and will block the pipes. PLEASE NOTE: Always be safe with fire on the island. There is no possibility to call fire department to help on the island that easily as on mainland.

- Use bricks under the smoker to lift it high enough. - Use aluminium foil under the fish - Use aluminium foil bottom of the smoker. Add some wood chips on the aluminium foil and couple of sugar cubes. - Add some salt on top of fish - 500g fish constant medium fire around 25-30min. Please be careful when opening the smoker door first time when in use > sugar and smoke fumes might go in to your eyes! PLEASE NOTE: Always be safe with fire on the island. There is no possibility to call fire department to help on the island that easily as on mainland.

-.Use only biological pest management if needed. - Some ants are ok. If there are lots of ants it is a sign of dirty surfaces (sugar, milk and fish related products). Keep surfaces clean and ants do not have any reason to come indoors. Also keep fresh trash (food etc.) outdoors in the black bucket with lid. Once you have clean the surfaces even larger amount of ants will disappear after one day. Kill them manually if needed with the red flyswatter on the wall next to exit (kärpäslätkä). - Ticks are also on the island. These are really small version. To prevent them keep grass l

- Always sit on the toilet when in use (men and women) - No plastic items on the toilet and only degradable items - Use 1-2 spoon of composting mix after use - Toilet might smell after each emptying process before composting process kicks in.

- There is a blue bucket on left for trash and another blue bucket for lake water that can be used to washing hands etc. - Minimize fresh garbage indoors and empty indoor garbage to the black outdoor garbage bin with lid. - Composting items can be thrown behind the toilet. - All trash that are not compostable needs to be taken with you. You can use the garbage bin on the parking lot.

- Do not overheat sauna. Max 3 hours per time should be enough. Overheating will increase the possible fire hazard. - Before you start heating the stove add water inside the vessel next to stove. Vessel should be at least half full of water. - Water can be heated also in low vessels that are placed on the top sitting level. - Respect neighbour privacy and do not enter their premises without permission or invitation - Please note all noises will carry easily over the water especially evenings when there is no wind - You need personal fishing permission to use the fishing gear on the cabin.
