This is one of the best raptor centers I have ever been to. If you have even the slightest interest in seeing a true bird rehabilitation center where you get to interact with the birds, or you have kids, this is a must.

There are a plethora of hand made gifts, food, music and entertainment and a farmers market. Only on Saturdays 10-5 April through November. There is a holiday market that is indoors over the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday that is worthy of a visit too.

This is a great adventure hike. It is Oregon’s oldest working Filbert (Hazelnut) farm. There is a 4 mile paved path that goes through native oak savannah, riverside habitats and secluded trails.

I just love this place, and the wines are superior to most of the wines you will find in Oregon. This is a favorite. They have small plates, but you might enjoy packing your own food in and enjoying a picnic while drinking wine and looking at the beautiful views.
