San Antonio Japanese Tea Garden, or Sunken Gardens in Brackenridge Park, San Antonio, Texas, opened in an abandoned limestone rock quarry in the early 20th century. Yes, the sign says "Chinese Tea Garden" when you get there. I know, I know. But it is quite peaceful.

Very cute bar, with good drinks, good people, good music. Typically they have vintage movies playing. QTIPOC friendly place. There's also a food truck with elotes & other snacks outside most nights!

Swanky bar set in a historic cellar (inside Hotel Emma) serving classic cocktails, craft beer, select wines & bar bites. PRO TIP: you can order coffee / tea at the cafe (which is through some glass doors, in the same building), and take it into Sternewirth to enjoy the ambiance. It's all a part of the same hotel.
