During the day it's a restaurant with amazing breakfast and good soups/salads for lunch. Then later turns into a place where most like to go out to. Drinks are good price and you can bar hop from there easily to other places.

Szentendre is a beautiful city near Budapest. It's worth a day trip. And make sure you grab an ice-cream walking along side the Danube. If you have a car you can stop by at the Romai part and there enjoy some local food during the summer like a 'heck' (sea water fish) accompanied by some 'kovaszos uborka' (salted pickled gherkins that are delicious).

One of our favourite places is Telep. It's a small bar which expands to the space outside in front basically any time during the year. You can enjoy a drink or more and run into the coolest people from the city. I assure you 99% will speak English and you'll have a great time.

Sightseeing
Our stunning castle is on a hill in the first district. By visiting the hill, the Mathias Church and the museum around it you could definitely enjoy half a day up there. The view is spectacular and overlooking the city.

Heroe's square is where Andrassy road finishes. Both are beautiful things to see. They sometimes say that part reminds visitors of Paris.

Budapest is famous for it's Turkish baths. Make sure you visit one while in the city. Szecheny and Gellert are the 2 most popular ones. Entry tickets are pretty much the same. Szechenyi is bigger and outdoor so I always suggest that.
