There's nothing like seeing a concert here; al fresco with a picnic and a glass of wine, watching the butterflies and listening to incredible music, comedy, you name it.

This is a little oasis and a nice place to spend an afternoon. Social Network, The Prestige, Witches of Eastwick, Death Becomes Her and X-Men were all filmed here, and there are many more.

Frank Gehry designed this building and it's worth a visit just to see it and the beautiful roof-top garden. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is also opposite.

Even if you're not interested in astronomy, this is pretty impressive, and the views can be breathtaking. Set in the huge Griffith Park, it's good to come up here when the sun is setting.
