Highest point on Södermalm, stunning views of the entire city. Walk up from Hornsgatan through an ancient block of wood houses. From the top you have a perfect view of City Hall and Kungsholmen island.

Walk up to the top of this ski slope for some good excercise and get rewarded with stunning views of Stockholm from the highest point in the city. In the winter you can walk up from Hammarbyhöjden for an easier ascent. In the summer you can choose your angle of attack based on your level of fitness.

Best view of the baltic sea side of Stockholm. From here you can see Gamla Stan, The Royal Castle, Djurgården, Gröna Lund, Skansen and most of the inner city. Walk up from Folkkungagatan for the best experience just as you get across the hill.

This entire part of the city was built in just the past 15 years, making the architecture very unique and different from other parts of Stockholm. The entire neighborhood is built with a high focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.
Very beautiful either on a sunny day, or late on a quiet night as the light from the buildings reflect on the water.
If you want something different than the regular public transport, you can grab a boat from Hammarby Sjöstad to downtown for 60sek.

This entire part of the city was built in just the past 15 years, making the architecture very unique and different from other parts of Stockholm. The entire neighborhood is built with a high focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

This part of Södermalm has a lot of small local shops, second hand shops, bars and restaurants. A lot of locals like to hang out here. Very hipster friendly.

Stockholms only proper skybar. This building was originally built in the 1950's as the main office for the Swedish tax authoroty. In 2007 the entire building was converted into offices, student housing and a shopping mall. On top of the building 2 additional floors were added, housing a fine dining restaurant and a skybar with 360 degree views of the city.
The bartenders keep a high standard, and so does the kitchen.
