Full of history and tastiness. Great coffees and a plethora of doughnuts. Personal favorites are Blackout and Peanut Butter and Jelly filled Yeast doughnut. 5 minute walk from apt!

At $2/slice and $12/pie and a variety of toppings, you can't go wrong with this place. When my sister and her friend visited we basically went here at least once a day. Small, cozy place. Try it!

This place is awesomely cheap! For those on a budget and craving Chinese food. Small plates-$3, large plates-$4.50.

I haven't been here yet but I hear the art is unique and interesting and the building itself is cool. Free admission Thursdays 7-9pm, attracts a cool, hipster crowd.

Sightseeing

After 3.5 years in NYC I finally got around to walking the Brooklyn Bridge. It takes about 30-60 minutes depending on how fast you want to walk it. There are lanes for exercise versus walking.

Manicures are $11 and a 10-minute massage (BEST massage I have ever gotten, really) by a tall, Korean man for $13. Nice way to pamper yourself and relax.
