The Franklin is a very nice place to get dinner in Gloucester. It has a nice atmosphere and the food is good. In terms of quality i would say it falls between the Seaport Grille and Duckworths.

Good Harbor Beach is very popular. Parking is chargeable and the lot fills up early in the summer. It is a crowded beautiful beach with facilities.

Halibut point is a beautiful park on the rocky coast where you can see the sea crashing against the rocks. There are also old Quarries where they mined the granite which are fun to see.
