The wonderful Rummelsburg Bay is located on the other side of the neighborhood for a great walk, or having a nice dinner or even have a night out at the only club right on the water.

This is one of the many Berlin flea markets available. Also one of the 3 main flea markets in all of Berlin. Saturdays it's a farmer's market, Sunday's you can buy all sorts of second hand items.

Soviet Memorial in Treptow is only 2 S-Bahn stops away or a short trip by bike. I would recommend going by bike as it's easier to get around the large memorial while you're there as well.

Recommended Cafés with Wifi

We thought it might be useful for those coming to work in Berlin or even those traveling wanting to update their social networks/postings while sipping a great cup of coffee and connecting to free Wifi. This list is thought to help with those cafés in the area that meet both of the criteria. Happy sipping and surfing!
Nadia and Kosta is a quaint little and typical Berlin-styled café literally just feet from the apartment. It is also the BEST coffee that my husband and I have ever had. The owner's names are Nadia and Kosta a couple with a Greek and Bulgarian background, who have called Berlin home for many many years. When they are around they enjoy catching up with all the locals from the neighborhood, which is the typical crowd you'll see here. If you're hungry they have paninis, or if you have a sweet tooth they offer an array of pastries, cakes, and cookies all from a great local bakery. The coffee is great and the wifi fast. We can highly recommend this place. If you chat with either Nadia or Kosta let them know you are our guests! ;) -Bianca & Christian
