The Pearl offers the famous Hotel Emma and other wonderful restaurants and sights. If you're into live music and dancing I recommend JazzTex.

Tobin offers the San Antonio Symphony, ballet, and other concerts. Great venue with decent acoustics. Parking is a hassle though. There is a nearby parking garage but I try and find a place on the street near First Baptist Church.
