Wonderful coffee shop on Church Street downtown (you can walk there in about 10 minutes) or drive to the uptown location on Bellevue. Wonderful coffee, service and scones.

Park reservation/forest just up the hill from us with views of NYC from the top of the hill. Lots of hiking trails. Dog friendly. 5 minute drive from our house. Great for walks year-round.
