Pigeon River leads to the Trent Severn Waterway. This canal system links Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay and is popular with recreational boaters. There are two boat launches located in the park.
Canoeing
The wide Pigeon River offers excellent canoeing for beginners. If you do not have a canoe, you can rent one at the Park Store. Many unique frogs and birds can be found in the wetland along the River. Head out exploring to see wetland wildlife in their natural home.
