The center is steps away, and has a convenient selection of food (hamburgers, Latin American food, sushi, etc.). Saturday there is a nice selection of food stalls set up, including Polish, French and Argentinian dishes.

Here you can find soccer fields, a children's playground, and a basketball court. The open entrances can be a bit roundabout, but its nice once you find your way.

There are quite a few touristy stalls, but also some more eclectic products. For me, the food market is the best part -- though be careful not to settle on one stall before seeing the entire range. I highly recommend the Venezuelan arepas.
