Beautiful serene place nestled inbetween the mountains about a 20 minute drive out of Rethimno. Pleasant nature walks and there is also a taverna for lunch. Great for families.

If you decide to stay in Rethimno, transport is not needed as Fortezza House is central to all amenities including the beach within walking distance.

A must do! And it's just a minute or so walk from Fortezza Garden Cottage. An open air cinema in a garden setting. There is a kiosk available that sell souvlaki, popcorn, drinks and other munchies or you can pack your own :)
